Post-and-beam houses from the 1950s and 60s, common in Edgemont and Lynn Valley, respond especially well because their structures were designed around open bays. We study how your house carries its loads first, then plan the openings so the architecture is enhanced rather than fought. The transformation in light alone is remarkable.

We build custom built-ins around fireplaces and window walls, panel studies and dining rooms with wainscoting, and run trim packages that suit both mid-century post-and-beam interiors and newer traditional homes. For full-floor makeovers we coordinate flooring, lighting, doors and millwork under one plan so the finished level reads as a single design.
